LA COMISIÓN EUROPEA,
Visto el Tratado de Funcionamiento de la Unión Europea,
Visto el Reglamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002 del Consejo, de 20 de diciembre de 2002, por el que se aplica el sistema de certificación del proceso de Kimberley para el comercio internacional de diamantes en bruto (1), y en particular su artículo 19, apartado 3, y su artículo 20,
Considerando lo siguiente:

En el anexo II del Reglamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002 figura la lista de participantes en el sistema de certificación del proceso de Kimberley (en lo sucesivo, «sistema de certificación PK») y sus autoridades competentes respectivas. |

(2) |
En la Decimoséptima Reunión Plenaria del Proceso de Kimberley, celebrada en Moscú (Federación de Rusia) en noviembre de 2021, los participantes acordaron admitir a Kirguistán, Mozambique y Qatar al sistema de certificación PK. |
|
(3) |
Según establece el artículo 19 del Reglamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002, la Comisión debe mantener en el anexo III una lista actualizada de las «autoridades comunitarias» (de la Unión). |
|
(4) |
Es preciso actualizar las direcciones de las autoridades competentes de algunos de los participantes en el sistema de certificación PK que figuran en el anexo II, así como las direcciones de las autoridades de los Estados miembros que figuran en el anexo III. |
|
(5) |
Los anexos II y III del Reglamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002 deben, por lo tanto, modificarse en consecuencia. |
|
(6) |
Las medidas previstas en el presente Reglamento se ajustan al dictamen del Comité a que se refiere el artículo 22 del Reglamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002. |
HA ADOPTADO EL PRESENTE REGLAMENTO:
El Reglamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002 se modifica como sigue:

El anexo II se sustituye por el texto que figura en el anexo I del presente Reglamento. |
|
2) |
El anexo III se sustituye por el texto que figura en el anexo II del presente Reglamento. |
El presente Reglamento entrará en vigor a los veinte días de su publicación en el Diario Oficial de la Unión Europea.
El presente Reglamento será obligatorio en todos sus elementos y directamente aplicable en cada Estado miembro.
